Charles "Lenny" Simpson,
Jr.
Charles "Lenny" Simpson, Jr., is a 1970 graduate
from Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, PA, with
additional college training in automotive technology
and computer sciences. A 33-year veteran of a
large metropolitan law-enforcement agency, he
spent over 18 years as the senior investigator
in the collision reconstruction field.
Lenny received his crash-investigation and -reconstruction
training from the Traffic Institute, Northwestern
University; Institute of Police Technology and
Management, University of North Florida; Texas
A&M, Engineering Extension; Montgomery College
and Anne Arundel Community College.
As a collision-reconstruction consultant, Lenny
has been recognized as an expert in both federal
and state judicial systems. Additionally, he
has taught all levels of crash investigation,
motorcycle collision investigation, Crush energy
analysis, pedestrian accident investigation,
vehicle dynamics and occupant kinematics, and
various other fields in collision investigation
and reconstruction in locations throughout the
country.

Charles Gregory Russell
Charles Gregory Russell earned his bachelor
of science degree from the University of Baltimore
in Criminal Justice and his master's degree in
Legal and Ethical Studies from the same institution.
He served for nearly 20 years as a police officer
in the US Military and Maryland police departments.
Over 17 years, Greg completed more than 1,000 hours
in continuing education in the areas of accident
reconstruction and traffic issues. Since 1998,
he has both developed and taught courses in accident
investigation. He has designed and published acclaimed
accident investigation software and a seminal book
in the field.
